Crooked Creek Baptist is looking for volunteer cooks/preparers to help facilitate meals for the upcoming Kids at Play program. The dates are listed in the information below. The meal will be for 20-25 people and can be served between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. Volunteers can contact Tom Bartley to reserve a date which works best for them (and possibly an alternative Sunday as these dates fill up. Crooked Creek Baptist is pleased to announce a new fall programming event for kids that will be meeting on Sunday evenings from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. These events are the progression of our Nerftastic Adventures.
Kids at Play: will be an evening of games (Nerftastic Adventures will continue as part of this), Bible study,... mission projects and education, and other projects. Dinner will be provided each week for kids (and their families that remain) for a suggested donation of $4. The dates for these gatherings are:
September 14, 21, 28
October 19, 26
November 2, 9 16
On Sunday, November 23 in our regular worship service the children will be taking part in worship, sharing the results of their work and education, as well as other gifts and skills developed as part of these meetings (Example: We will be working on a choral piece for this Sunday)!
